Restylane Treatment with Dr. Jaibaji
One of the key advantages of Restylane is that treatment can be completed in a matter of minutes. Most patients are in and out of the office in less than an hour. Prior to treatment, your face will be cleansed with an antiseptic. We will then identify the appropriate injection locations and determine the amount of product that is necessary.
The injections are administered with a fine needle for minimal discomfort. Following injection, we may gently massage the treatment sites to ensure even distribution. An icepack may also be placed on the treatment sites to minimize the risk of swelling.
Restylane Treatment Recovery
There is absolutely no downtime necessary after treatment. You can return to work and other normal routines immediately. It’s important to note that the treatment sites will be sensitive initially, so you will be advised to avoid immediate sun exposure. You may notice slight swelling, which should resolve on its own within a day or two.
The results of the treatment are instantaneous and can last for up to one year. Maintenance treatments will be necessary to ensure long-lasting results. In many cases, Restylane can be combined with our other procedures for the most satisfying results.
Like most cosmetic procedures, there are possible side effects with Restylane. These risks will be discussed in-depth prior to your procedure. Though uncommon, some risks may include headache, nausea, redness and pain at the injection sites.
